Thanks to everyone who came today. 23 young people and 7 volunteers. it was a bit of a break the ice start. But we had a cat sailing group, the potential dinghy instructors practising for their course and a general sailing group. The general sailors unfortunately having to practise their light wind sailing skills, roll tacking and of course capsize practise (as if they have not done enough already!). Thanks again to the volunteers who came to help
8 brave souls turned up for the first sail of the year at PYS on Sunday, well done. a windy but short session. Toby Wallington and Max Cavrot aptly demonstrating that funboats can be sailed on one hull. 7 volunteers came to help as well. thanks guys, however the big problem was getting the safety boats to work after the last two weeks of pounding from the weather.
